Description

The SIM MAX returns with increased stability and forgiveness, giving you the confidence to step up to any tee shot. A new Forged Ring Construction delivers a new dimension of distance and forgiveness. Lightweight, high strength aluminum is milled to unite a massive rear weight, a full carbon sole, crown and new milled back cup face. The SIM Inertia Generator is asymmetrically designed to provide faster club head speeds through advanced geometry and aerodynamic analysis. A lightweight carbon sole allows for redistributed mass for deeper CG with enhanced forgiveness.

  • Speed Injected Twist Face – Utilizes corrective face curvature to limit mis-hits while improving ball speed.
  • Thru-Slot Speed Pocket – TaylorMade’s most flexible Speed Pocket design maximizes ball speed and enhances forgiveness on low face strikes.
  • Draw Bias Design – Standard draw bias designs sacrifice forgiveness for a right-to-left ball flight. The reconstructed driver head and shifted asymmetric Inertia Generator allows TM to retain that forgiveness with enhanced draw-bias flight.

Probably the best driver ive eve used

“Switched from an M4 to this but also tested out a stealth for a few rounds before going with the sim 2 max D. Most forgiving driver I've ever used by far. Makes a pretty sweet sound coming off the club. The draw bias also helped out, as a right handed golfer with a tendency to push things out to the right this helped straighten everything out.”

What is the height the clubs are set to? I am 5'8. Should I request a different length?

The only way to know for sure would be to have a fitting done. Given this is a driver, you should be fine with the standard length.
