Great irons poor customer service

“The irons are fantastic. Perfect mix of control, forgiveness, and distance. I custom ordered a stock set with 2° flat lie. Took right at 7 weeks to come in. I’ve been a loyal GlobalGolf customer for years. Spent absurd amounts of money here. I understood when I ordered these clubs that delivery times are currently impacted by Covid-19. However, when I reached out for updates (and when I was lucky enough to receive a reply) I was given the runaround, which was absolutely unnecessary, as I was just looking for an honest answer. I was first told (per Titleist) the clubs were nearing completion and would ship on 8/10. They did not, and when I reached out, it took two weeks to get an answer from GlobalGolf. When I finally did get an answer, I was told (again, per Titleist—that is, if they were actually contacted at all) that the heads were backordered to 10/30. Then the clubs showed up on 10/4. While I’m grateful they showed up at all, the customer service was just abysmal. It’s okay to be honest with your customers. Seriously, it’s fine. We’ll understand. But I won’t be placing any custom orders here in the future. ”
