They’re also positioned on the low-back CG slightly forward of the G400 model to deliver more energy from the shallower face while providing a greater stability and forgiveness.

    Features

    • Eight fitting positions
    • New lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve that enables you to tune your trajectories through loft (+- 1.5°) and lie adjustments
    • CG aligned with Force Line

    Technology / Specs

    Ping G410 Fairway Overview

    CG Location and shift

    Updated CG Location

CG location in a club is crucial to controlling the ball flight. PING moved the CG location of the G410 fairway woods slightly forward from the position in the G400 fairway woods. The new position is more in line with the force line, which accelerates ball velocity for greater distance.

Club Face and Moveable weight highlighted

Tungsten Back Weight and Maraging Steel Face

A high-density tungsten weight on the sole of the G410 fairway wood is positioned on the perimeter of the club. Putting the weight there makes the club more stable at impact, increasing MOI and forgiveness. To further aid in increasing ball speed, PING designers use an ultra-strong C300 maraging steel to construct the face. The steel’s strength allows it to be forged thinner, which allows it to flex more at impact for greater ball speed and distance.

    Hosel and hosel locations

    Trajectory Tuning 2.0

Another new feature on the G410 fairway woods is the new adjustable hosel, called Trajectory Tuning 2.0. It is lightweight, aerodynamic, and has 8 different settings to choose from. You can adjust the loft +/-1.5 degrees, in 0.5-degree increments. You can also make the lie angle flatter.
