Description

The Callaway X Forged Utility iron features a forged design with CG strategically positioned in line with the center of the face for maximum ball speed and a straighter flight. The tungsten infused insert increases MOI, making it easier to control shots with easy launch and long carry while the hollow body construction also adds forgiveness in a traditional long iron shape. The industry-leading 360 Face Cup technology increases ball speed with greater efficiency on center hits, and further minimizes distance loss on off-center hits.

Features

  • Forged Precision and Performance
  • More Control and Forgiveness
  • Longer Average Distance

Great Club Off the Tee Fairway and Light Rough

Review by Wade T, 3 years ago.

“I use the X Forged UT to replace my 3 iron. It gives me great shots off the tee. The sole of the club gives you forgiveness off the fairway and a low penetrating flight. I have Modus 120 in a 21 degree X Forged UT clubhead. The add yardage get fills the gap between my last iron and my 5 wood. This replaced my Srixon U65 20 degree that has a wider sole. It was very close but the X Forged UT has a slimmer profile and topline. The Srixon may fly higher but not by much. This club might not be popular because the stock shaft was Project X. Project X shafts are pretty stout and don't work for a lot of swings. I love the Modus 120 shaft, so the X Forged UT is in the bag!”
