Very Good Condition

Shows general wear associated with normal use over the course of a season or more but has been well cared for. Does not retain any of the "new look" but is in better than average condition. There is absolutely no sign of abuse. Cosmetic imperfections are typically visible. Examples include: scuffing, scratching, tiny paint blemishes, shallow dings/nicking, and normal shaft wear.

Description

The Mizuno MP-18 Split Cavity irons were designed in partnership with the Mizuno Tour staff to be exactly what better players ask for out of a modern, compact cavity set. A slightly wider, cambered sole makes the MP-18 SC irons more playable than the muscle-back, however, the size and shape are only a fraction larger, making it easy to blend into a combo set. The irons feature 1025E carbon steel with a six times tighter tolerance than industry standard for greater purity. The enhanced Grain Flow Forging process increases grain density in the impact area for the ultimate soft, solid, and consistent feel. The irons also feature Harmonic Impact Technology to deliver ideal impact feel and feedback while the satin nickel chrome finish gives the clubs an elegant, yet durable non-glare finish.

Features

  • Split Cavity design offers slightly more forgiveness than MP-18
  • Wider cambered sole adds more forgiveness and playability
  • Grain Flow Forged HD with 1025E Carbon Steel gives these clubs their feel and provides instant feedback
  • Head size and standard specs make it easy to make a combo set

Literally the best

Review by Justin N., 4 years ago.

“The quality is amazing with these. So soft when you hit the right spot and miss hits really aren't that bad. Maybe lose 10 yards. You can really work these suckers. ”

Amazing feel with more forgiveness than you d think

Review by Justin P, 2 years ago.

“This was my first set of Mizunos after having AP2's and Apex Pro's in the past 10 years. Have now had these for 2 years and I cannot imagine anything playing better. I actually went to Club Champion and tried all other clubs on the market a year after they had been out and they were still the best out there. Piercing trajectory and the dispersion for me is extremely tight. Sure I'll miss right and left, but the distance is usually within a couple yards of what I'm going for even on slight mishits. It might be worthwhile to start at 5 iron on this set and use a driving iron 4 iron as sometimes that club can give me a bigger miss, but other than that, these are truly fantastic.”

Mp-18 SC

Review by John F., 2 years ago.

“I ordered these clubs in value condition and they arrived in very good shape. You can see marks from previous use, but nothing that would affect performance or play. I've gone to the range and played a couple rounds with them so far and they're definitely for a more advanced player. When you strike the ball correctly they sound and feel great. They are not very forgiving so keep that in mind when purchasing.”
