Men's Right-Hand Titleist 917D2

10.5° Loft, Regular Flex, Standard Length, Standard Lie Angle

Graphite Shaft

Description

The Titleist 917D2 driver features technology that maximizes distance, forgiveness, and precise customization for every player. The driver’s SureFit CG allows the center of gravity of the club head to be adjusted from heel to toe with interchangeable weights. With these weights, spin and launch conditions can be dialed in for the ultimate customization. The Active Recoil Channel 2.0 has been improved to flex more at impact in order to reduce spin and increase ball speed. Additionally, the driver features the Radial Speed Face 2.0, which gives off-center shots greater distance. The forgiving 917D2 has a 460cc full pear profile and delivers a slightly higher launch angle and spin rate than the 440cc 917D3 Driver.

Features

  • SUREFIT® CG – moves the center of gravity with interchangeable weights to optimize spin and launch conditions.
  • ACTIVE RECOIL CHANNEL 2.0 – this wide channel on the sole reduces spin and increases ball speed by flexing at impact
  • RADIAL SPEED FACE 2.0 – Thinner face around the perimeter to increase ball speed on mishits across the entire face
  • SUREFIT HOSEL – 16 unique loft and lie settings help create a more consistent and optimized ball flight through precision fitting.
  • 917D2 has a 460cc full pear profile and delivers a slightly higher launch angle and spin rate than the 440cc 917D3 Driver

Very forgiving

Review by bigred, 1 year ago.

“I have grown to like the more grey crown. Sound is good and much more forgiving than the 915.”

Not my first choice

Review by Larry P, 2 years ago.

“I demo'd the 917D2 against a couple other drivers but consistently hit the Ping G better. I have been a Titleist player for years but had to switch based on performance ”

the best

Review by blip, 2 years ago.

“I was **** for this club last fall but didn't want to spend $500+tax. Got slightly used identical club for over 35% less. Best driver I ever had. Only drawback, new comes with neutral AND draw/fade bias weights and headcover. Used comes with only whatever weight was in it.”

is there any way to put a stipulation that I don't want anything with a scuff along that top line that's visible from address? Surely some of the bargain condition clubs are in better shape than others ?
