WOW

Review by Max, 3 months ago.

“I went from the SLDR 430 driver to the M2 and what a DRAMATIC difference. I went from a 12 degree loft to a 10 with the m2 which could have been the reason but I gained an AVERAGE of 40 yards on my drives. The SLDR would send my ball straight in the air but the M2 has amazing ball flight and feel. Very forgiving club also. I went from being able to only hit 210 on a good drive to hitting 250 (best 290) and I am a 14 handicap”

Bloody Amazing

“Best driver I have ever hit!!! I just did a demo with the '17 M2 and M2 DType and I still like the original better as well I hit it farther with this stick with a Fujikura stiff shaft. The only thing I highly suggest is getting it regripped immediately as the standard grips are awful!!! Thank you Taylormade you've done it again!!!”

“Best driver I've hit. High launch, low spin. Head feels little light though. Need to get the right shaft.”

The Kuro Kage Silver shaft promotes a low/mid launch. In regards to swing speeds, that would be dictated by the shaft flex chosen. Regular 85-95, Stiff 95-105, and X-stiff above 105. These are ballpark numbers and only a fitting would be exact for your swing.

If the image is accurate; it's the 2016. I wrote the question just above yours basically asking the same thing. I researched it and there are some cosmetic differences between the 2016 and 2017 that sets them apart.
