Very Good Condition

Shows general wear associated with normal use over the course of a season or more but has been well cared for. Does not retain any of the "new look" but is in better than average condition. There is absolutely no sign of abuse. Cosmetic imperfections are typically visible. Examples include: scuffing, scratching, tiny paint blemishes, shallow dings/nicking, and normal shaft wear.

Description

The Titleist AP1 716 irons are designed with tour proven technology, appeal to a wide range of golfers and are the most playable and forgiving iron that Titleist produces. They feature maximum distance from the 360° undercut cavity which creates a thin, fast face for an increase in both speed and launch. The high density tungsten weighting plays a dual role in the AP1 716 by offering maximum forgiveness and even more distance. The use of the tungsten moves weight to the perimeter increasing MOI for speed on off center hits offering more forgiveness. It creates more distance by lowering the CG and allowing for stronger lofts to create even more speed and distance. The Titleist AP1 716 irons are the longest and most forgiving Titleist iron ever.

Features

  • 360° Undercut Cavity
  • Thin, Fast Face
  • High Density Tungsten Weighting

Great Feel

Review by Anthony K, 3 years ago.

“1st off, the service from GlobalGolf on this order (like all my others) was 100% as advertised. Delivered in the time stated and the product was exactly in the condition advertised. As far as the clubs themselves, the first trip to the range revealed an instant 5-10 yard bump in distance from my old irons even with my typical high ball flight. For reference, I came from swinging TaylorMade Burner 2.0's. My swing speed is around 110-115 so I ordered them with stiff shafts. I'm about a 15-18 handicap so I definitely need something forgiving. These clubs are exactly that. Sweet spot hits just jump off the face with a very pleasing sound you don't typically get with a game improvement iron. My mishits even flew further and straighter than expected. I have played about 10 rounds with them now and every round the feel gets even a little better than the one before. I highly recommend these for anyone looking at game improvement irons.”

Great Irons!

Review by Bryan W., 3 years ago.

“Finally replaced some Ping irons that I had played with for years. Didn't have any problem with the Pings, just thought it might be time to upgrade, and a local golf coach recommended these AP1's. Couldn't believe the difference. Always had the impression that Titleist irons were geared towards better players, which I am not. They are very forgiving on slight mishits and seem to have a high ball flight, even with the stronger lofts. Not an oversized head, which I was used to, but I feel very confident when I swing them. Can't go wrong with these. Don't hesitate to pick them up, especially with the sale that Global Golf has right now. Can't go wrong.”

Unbelievable Distance - Great Price from 3Balls

Review by WLS, 5 years ago.

“I bought these clubs to replace my 712 AP-2's. I bought that set when I was playing 3 to 4 times a week and had a great swing. Playing 1 to 2 times a week has taken it toll so I was looking for some added help. Boy did I find it. I took these out without going to the range and found I was adding 10 yards per club, but still needed to find the right set up with my hands and ball position so I headed to the range for some work. After a day at the range I headed back out to the course on a 55 degree day with 15 mile per hour winds. First swing was a 6 iron from 181 downwind. The ball sailed the green by 20 yards, but okay it was down wind. Next hole was 155 dead into the wind with an 8 iron. The ball came off the club perfectly and went over the back of the green by 5 yards. The rest of the round was made up of adjusting distances in my head to the clubs; subtracting 1 to 2 clubs at each shot across the course from my previous set and wishing it was Spring instead of the Fall. If you want easy distance and great accuracy these are the clubs for you. On an additional note I bought these from the used section for a great discount from new and could hardly tell the difference on wear marks on the bottom. I have now bought a hybrid and irons from 3Balls and have been extremely happy with the condition and price.”

Used 716 AP1

Review by Guillaume L, 5 years ago.

“Love the new 716 AP1s. Traded in my old set of TM RBladez for these ones in 'very good condition' and they were almost new, one club was still wrapped in plastic. Sure they are marketed as being long and forgiving - keep in mind that no clubs will fix a bad swing. However, when hit decently well, they will go far and yes they are straight. The loft on the PW is kind of aggressive so I bought a gap wedge to make up for it. Really good looking clubs, will look at home in any bag. They make you look like a good golfer without spending the extra $$ on blades. Highly recommended.”

Wow all I can say is wow!

Review by Thomas M, 3 years ago.

“So I bought these irons based on reviews alone, all I can say it this is the most superior club I have ever played with. I can now hit a 7 iron 170 and a 6 iron over 180. This is such a well balanced iron. You cannot go wrong for the money it blows my Taylor made rocket bladez HL's away!!!!!! And Global golf rocks as always, great delivery and are giving a great deal on the old club trade ins.”

Are the grips standard

Unfortunately there is not a way for us to list the size and type of grip on the clubs available for purchase. The clubs are pre-boxed and we ship from multiple locations. We could also have more than one of the same exact item. Our shipping department will simply pick the item on top and process the shipment.

We do not offer lie adjustment services but you may be able to have it done at a local shop. I would suggest checking with them first.

If you look at the top of the screen, to the left of "Help/Chat", there will be a flag representing the county whose currency is being shown. If it is a US flag, you are seeing US dollars. You can click the arrow next to the flag to change to any currency you are looking for.
