Men's Right-Hand Mizuno JPX-850 Forged

Standard Length, Standard Lie Angle

Steel Shaft

The Mizuno JPX-850 forged iron set feature a new, thinner face that is strategically reinforced by a Power Frame cavity which places weight to the extreme corners of the club head for maximum forgiveness along with increased distance. Mizuno’s new BORON material is 30% stronger than traditional 1025E steel billets which allows for a thinner face and extreme ball speeds. The result is an incredible iron that combines Grain Flow Forged precision and feel with shocking distance. A combination that was unachievable before BORON.

  • Grain Flow Forged 1025 BORON: 30% stronger material for thinner face and longer distance while delivering soft, solid, consistent feel.
  • Power Frame: Enables entire face to flex for increased ball speeds and distance.
  • Ultra CNC Milled Pocket: Higher launch angle and increased ball speeds in 4 through 7 irons.

Great clubs, consistent distances!

Review by Dave B, 5 years ago.

“The JPX 850 Forged was exactly what I was looking for in a forged iron with forgiveness and work-ability. The cavity slot built into the longer irons make them easy to hit and the feel is amazing. The scoring clubs have all the work-ability you would want with a great feel around the greens. They are not as forgiving as the Cobra S9's I traded in but the Grain Flow Forged BORON steel feels like "butter" when you hit the sweet spot. The scoring clubs give me consistent distances with my approaches. My go to approach shot is the 2 - 3 yard butter cut, but I can easily hit the nice tight draw with these clubs. If your looking for a forged iron with game improvement technology, work-ability and consistent distances the JPX 850's are a quality choice for you.”

Great irons for mid to low handicapper

Review by Paul Crothall, 6 years ago.

“i bought the JPX 850 forged irons as I was looking for a slightly better set of irons with my handicap coming down. These are such fantastic irons, easy to hit without the look of an oversized head. And of course Mizuno grain flow forged nothing compares.”

Absolutely love this set!!

Review by Shane O, 8 years ago.

“Great forged iron set from Mizuno. I love the look and design, this club has an awesome feel when struck in the center. Great feedback for off center/mishits and allows you to immediately realize it was a clean hit. I would definitely recommend this set for someone looking for a forged club with forgiveness and great feel that looks awesome!”

Shouldn't have waited so long

Review by John G, 6 years ago.

“I bought a set of used JPX-850 Forged about a month ago. I had liked the way they feel when I hit them in the store but never moved ahead with buying them. I found a set on Global Golf that suited me so I finally pulled the trigger. Wow, what a difference. I hit them on the range and they were great. But the big difference was on the course. The first shot I hit with them on the course was a 4 iron from about 250 yards out. I just wanted to get inside 50 yards for my next shot. It was a blind shot so I couldn't see where it ended up. Much to my surprise it was on the green hole high! There's no way I carried all the way but what an unbelievable shot. The rest of my shots were much better from the fairway than I had been playing with my previous irons. I found myself reaching for the putter only a lot when I went to the green. Don't hesitate if your thinking about these irons, and Global Golf provides an affordable option.”

Due to the wear and tear on such a new club, is this price negotiable?

Our prices are not negotiable. The price is lower because it is a used set in comparison to a new set.
