  • Forgiveness from a deep undercut, dual cavity design with very dense tungsten weighting. Maximum ball speeds across the face from a high MOI design.
  • Solid feel throughout the set from the progressive CG location, lower in the long irons and slightly higher in the scoring irons.
  • Smooth turf release from the camber sole with beveled leading edge.
  • Progressive blade length, topline and sole widths. Satin polish playing position with bright polish cavity back.
  • Very Good Condition
Shows general wear associated with normal use over the course of a season or more but has been well cared for. Does not retain any of the "new look" but is in better than average condition. There is absolutely no sign of abuse. Cosmetic imperfections are typically visible. Examples include: scuffing, scratching, tiny paint blemishes, shallow dings/nicking, and normal shaft wear. Unless otherwise noted, there are absolutely NO pop-up marks in the crown of any woods.

    Titleist AP1 714 Irons is rated 4.7895 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great condition The irons were in great shape as advertised. Shipping was fast. Grips were new but the tape was below the grip and they were cheap grips. I'll have to put new grips on them, but, overall happy with the irons!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent experience I wanted titleist ap 1. Looked at new for $800. Found this website and its ease and selection are great. My set up was a bit of a challenge to get (I wanted 5 iron to 52 degree wedge). Easy buying process. Shipped across country in a week exactly as expected. I received near new clubs and the 52 degree wedge was still plastic wrapped. I could not be happier with the experience or the clubs. Thank you for saving me $375.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Clubs Great customer service and purchase experience at Great club. Exactly what I needed given my slower swing speed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable service! I bought "very good" Ap2 irons and they were practically in new condition when I opened the box. I didn't like the irons and asked to exchange them for the Ap1 irons. It couldn't have been an easier process. I love my Ap1 irons. Thank you, thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Title its irons rock! Purchased the AP 1 irons a few weeks ago and I regret waiting so long toake this purchase. These are the most accurate irons I have ever owned the price was right and the quality and condition were excellent

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Transaction I purchased a set of irons that were very nicely priced and were delivered quickly. The clubs were actually better conditioned than advertised and I am extremely satisfied with this transaction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Clubs I've only been using the AP1s for about 2 weeks, I haven't noticed more distance but they definitely seem to have corrected a minor fade. They feel solid and crisp when well struck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than advertised The clubs were listed and very good and they were. Two of the, the five iron and four iron still had the factory plastic wrap on the head and grip. Great buy!

What model year is this set?

    Asked by: Nmjohn
Titleist doesn't specifically release clubs according to the calendar year, it is more the model type and product line releases that are often done in the winter. However, Titleist doesn't produce a surplus of iron sets, so when they find something that works they tend to stick with it. With that being said, this set was introduced in November 2013 and went retail in Jan 2014. It is still one of the highest rated and most recent Titleist Iron Sets available.

Do u have any of these in "fine" condition ?

    Asked by: Phil C
The available conditions are shown in the drop down menu next to the item. If there are any Fine available, that will be visible under "condition" selection. We did only have limited number of these in Fine, with the majority rating as Very Good. The Very Good sets really are quite nice -- with signs of use but no abuse. Some scratching here and there, but grooves, grips, shafts, everything in really nice shape.

I am 6'2 tall, are these clubs able to be extended either first or once I have them?

    Asked by: Will M
Steel shaft is a little easier to extend than graphite, but both can be extended. We do not currently offer that as a regular service at this time, but you may want to bring them to a local outfit where they can check your lie angle as well.

    Asked by: john hermo
There are a number of different options available for the Titleist AP1 714 Irons. On all iron set pages there is a drop down selection labeled "Type". The options in this menu will tell you exactly what set makeups we have available. We currently have four different set makeups available. The loft of the sand wedge in the Titleist AP1 714 Iron set is 52*.

Will you be getting in Left handed sets?

    Asked by: Michigan43
We will definitely have LH sets available, it is just a matter of when and how many. We have many sources of inventory and things come and go very quickly! Your best bet would be to fill out a product arrival alert ( and you will receive an email as soon as the exact set that you are looking for is available. You can be as specific or as general as you want in creating the alert.

how many clubs with that price ? one more question is - im 5'8 inches what size clubs should i get ?

    Asked by: guthy
The price varies depending on the set make-up. In the "Type" drop-down you will see the different options for 7 and 8 piece sets. Prices vary depending on the number of clubs in the set and based on shaft type, graphite shafts are slightly more expensive than steel. In general, for you height, standard length clubs would work well.
