    Titleist AP1 714 Irons is rated 4.7797 out of 5 by 59.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value. Great Clubs I just purchased the AP1 714 irons and received them within 5 days. The condition of the set was listed as "fine" and they were just that. The grips were like new, all the stickers were still on the shafts and you had to search for any scuffs on the club head. I found very few. I have only playes these clubs once but was very pleased at the performance. They are a forgiveness club but offer much more feel on mishits than my previous set of forgiveness irons. The ball flight was long and straight I feel great about the decision to buy this set used. They saved me a lot of money and will be in my bag for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great clubs Have wanted a set of these for a while now but couldn't find a set locally at the right price. I was recommended to 3 balls by a friend. I had never heard of you so read lots of reviews before I ordered. Very happy I did. I ordered 2 extra wedges to go with the set and was very happily surprised when they all arrived with matching brand new Golf Pride grips. The condition was exactly as described with slight marks from being a used set but in very good condition. Also I ordered them on Friday and they were at my house in Brisbane Australia the following Tuesday. Now that is service *****

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent experience I wanted titleist ap 1. Looked at new for $800. Found this website and its ease and selection are great. My set up was a bit of a challenge to get (I wanted 5 iron to 52 degree wedge). Easy buying process. Shipped across country in a week exactly as expected. I received near new clubs and the 52 degree wedge was still plastic wrapped. I could not be happier with the experience or the clubs. Thank you for saving me $375.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm very happy I feel like I got great clubs at a discount and am very happy. All clubs were as described; in very good condition. I went to golfsmith hit a bunch of clubs and found what I liked best and then purchased them here. The only reason I didn't not give a perfect 5/5 stars is all of the stickers were peeling off and it wasn't in the pictures. It's a small qualm, but it was something I didn't know before I purchased them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little irons Finally went and hit with them and while I used to be a good golfer, its been like 10 yrs since I played at all and about 5 more since playing with any regularity. My old irons were half missing and ones that remained were unforgiving. I used these this weekend and were great when hit square and still super nice when I hit off the toe a few times. Not much drop off with a little mishit at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Rate Service Purchase - Titleist AP1 714 irons. Early days but these irons reek of quality. My last clubs were Mizuno JPX 825 pro and although the Titleist are not forged they produce the same feel and if possible, even more forgiveness. I was concerned about making the change as I was basically very pleased with the Mizunos but so far, I think I have done the right thing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality at a great price. Got these just at the end of the season so I haven't had the chance to fully test them, but already am seeing a difference at the range. Longer and more consistent than my old clubs. Bought them in "Fine" condition, and they look brand new. This was my first purchase from 3balls, and I definitely be back in the spring eyeing some new woods and a driver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy I bought titleist 714 AP1 irons with a weaker shaft because I am 69 and not getting any stronger. I played 714 AP2 with stiff shafts up until I received my new irons. I am hitting these about 10 yards shorter but very accurate. I will sacrifice the yards for the accuracy. Enjoy playing with them.

I noticed several different shafts I know I need steel but don't really know which one I am  a 38 year old Man with a 12 handicap don't know my swing speed but i have regular flex now feel like I may need to go to stiff have only played for three years

    Asked by: samsfence
There are several shaft options for these Titleist AP1 714 Irons. Based on your age and handicap more than likely it would make sense to move to a stiff shaft. There are only two shaft options available for stiff steel and the differences between the two are not major. Therefore, I would first determine what set make-up you are looking for and that may narrow the shaft decision down to one of the two options. Otherwise, either shaft option XP 95 S300 or Dynamic Gold S300 are similar while the XP model is designed to be a bit more forgiving.

What vis the difference please in the type of steel shaft available True Temper vs. Nippon?

    Asked by: Golf Guy
The stock shaft option for Titleist AP1 714 Irons are True Temper. There is not a huge difference in the type of steel between these and Nippon models. However, many feel the Nippon irons are a bit softer.

Titleist has the 714 AP1 as having 2 wedges past the PW, designated as W (48 degrees loft) and W2 (52 deg loft). You list your sets as having either an AW or a GW. Which of these corresponds to the "W" and which to the "W2"? Thanks.

    Asked by: Bobtrumpet
The W would be the AW (48 degrees) and the W2 would be the GW (52 degrees).
