Mizuno JPX-825 Pro Irons is rated 4.7045 out of 5 by 44.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from silk worm smooth so pleased with these sticks!! I first hit a set of the 800 pros and was sold on the spot, thought I would check out 3balls and found the exact set I was looking for at a GREAT price. if you are reading this review you are interested in these clubs....... in a few short words "Just GET em"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel, longer than predecessor I wasn't planning on upgrading my JPX800 Pros to the newer model because the 800s were such a good club. However, after hitting the 825s at a demo day and needing a shaft change, it became apparent that a whole new set was the best option. I borrowed a set of MP59s while waiting for my clubs to arrive and loved the 59s. When I got my clubs it was love at first strike. They have the same feel as the 59s, but are much easier to hit as the clubs get longer. An unexpected benefit is the 10+ extra yards I'm getting on every club. If you are looking for a forgiving club with the Mizuno grain flow forged feel, this is the one for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great club I got these clubs 2 weeks ago and have 5 rounds under them. A great looking club with a great feel I absolutely love them, the club allows you feedback on your miss hits so you know what your are doing, miss hits also stay on line pretty well with just some yardage loss so you still have forgiveness, on that note I'm not sure mizuno got the handicap rating on this club right. If I was a 18 handicapper when I got these clubs I'm not sure i would enjoy them very much. Overall the clubs are awesome I got custom fitted, hit 3 shots, one with a different shaft and  two with the project x shafts that I went with and I was sold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid feel, forgiving head. I've played Mizuno for over 10 years and have had good results. The JPX825 Pro are probably the most forgiving. The look is still good at address, not much offset, but a slightly wider top line without looking like a game-improvement iron. My only complaint is with the shafts, but that's my fault for not getting properly fitted. I have the Dynalite Gold S300, and they are a bit too soft for my swing. The JPX825 Pro head is designed to help get the ball in the air, and when you add in the softer shafts, my shots tend to balloon. I'm looking at switching in some 6.5 Rifles with a stiffer tip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great up grade, or down grade I have played mizuno irons for the last 20 years. Played the mp59's since they came out, but up/down graded to jpx825 pro's a short while ago. I done this only because of age, 56, and wanted a little more distance without completely giving up the mp "look". This fit the bill perfectly! They're a club longer, really. No, you can not work the ball as you can with the mp's, and don't feel quite as good, but they're pretty darn close. Hated to give into age but this has been a great move for me. My opinion, these are great irons, but all mizuno's are great. Buy'em, you'll like'em!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Set of Irons, Improved My Game I love these clubs. I've always used a forged club, but the JPX-825 Pro irons have elevated my game. Sure, my old clubs were bit outdated, but these are far more balanced, forgiving, and smooth. I love the club design as I stand over them. They give me greater confidence that I'll hit the shot I've envisioned. When I purchased them nearly a year ago, my handicap was an 10.4. I am now a 6.1 and it went as low as a 4.7 last summer. I attribute this improvement to these new irons as much as I do to the amount of golf played this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lefty Discrimination I've been in out of golf stores, pro shops, etc. For some reason I continue to go directly to the JPX-825 PRO Irons. There's only one problem, I'm left handed and left handed PRO Irons are not available for lefties. I realize that left handed golfers are discriminated against when it comes to golf equipment. Why not rethink your production strategy and produce these irons for lefties. It's like your giving the right handed golfers an advantage. I look forward to the day when I can swing a set of JPX-825 PRO Irons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Irons! I’ve been playing the same course every Friday for over 20 years, averaging 85 or 86 over that time. I received my JPX-825 Pros with Project X 5.0 graphite shafts on Wednesday, hit them at the range on Thursday, and shot 79 at the previously mentioned course on Friday. I know this is a very small sample size, but it didn't take long to see that these are truly some fine irons. I hit them straighter and higher than any set of irons I’ve ever owned. They feel softer than my previous forged irons too.

    Asked by: matt
There are varying conditions of each set makeup that is available. We do have a very detailed 7-grade condition rating system which can be found here: In order to see what conditions are available in this specific set makeup, first select the "Type" drop-down, then see what is available under the "Condition" drop-down. Unfortunately, in order to pass along our incredible savings we cannot provide actual photos for all clubs listed on our site due to the volume and repetitive nature of our inventory. However, our "Representative Photos" have a high level of detail you don't often find (even in "actual photos"). That's because we've created a state of the art photo studio and lab so we can provide sets of highly detailed photos that are as representative of condition as possible (based on our detailed 7 degree rating scale). The benefit is that, even though it's not an "actual photo", we do our very best to depict the overall condition that you can expect to receive.

My current Mizuno (M 20) are forged.  I assume these JPX825 are forged, but the back of the iron looks like a cast.  Please confirm
