Rated 4 out of 5 by from Enoying my new, forgiving irons Well I'm glad I picked the right irons. I went through a lengthy process, read about and hit a 1/2 dozen of the leading brands. Choice came down to the C company X-Hot forged and the Mizuno irons. The distance gains, forgiveness on mishits and the overall feel of the clubs won me over. I love that these irons have a clean, small cavity back look from above and weight to them. Also believe the key to success is getting fitting proper and Mizuno has a simple process at various golf retailers. I am a 14 handicap and play a long and narrow private golf club. These clubs are helping gain a whole club longer and have a greater sweet spot to cut down on the dispersion of shots. Happy with my Mizuno choice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great irons for game improvement!!¡¡ I am thirteen.  I have had these irons for 3 quarters of a year, and they are incredibly easy to hit.  Before I got fitted for these irons, I was a 12 handicap, and I never thought of mizuno as a golf company.  Now, I am down to a 3, and I can shoot anything close to par or a little higher.  Although these are great irons, they are starting to feel too big and clunky, and I find that in the shorter irons, it is hard to stop drawing the ball too much.  Overall, amazing product, but not for the better player who is looking for feel and workability.  I am thinking of trying the mp 54s.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Custom fitted JPX 825 graphite shafts In June I was fitted for JPX 825 regular flex graphite shafts 1" over length. I am happy to say that this was the best golf decision that  I have ever made. When they arrived I could immediately feel the improvement.  I easily gained one club in distance. My greens in regulation has doubled and I have gone from a 12.5 to a 8.6  in a matter of four months. My friends at my home club cannot believe the improvements in my game.  After about 10 years of golfing and always staying around a 12 to 14 hdcp. I am a firm believer in their products and fitting system. I recently purchased a MP-4 56* wedge to complete my bag.  They have the softest feel that I have ever experienced in an iron. No more fingernail rattlers. Handicap is going Down,Down,Down!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outshines the competitiors I purchased my JPX 825's after hitting/testing every major brand club on the market.  I needed a game improvement club, but did not like the big chunky look of many in that category.  The 825's give a more traditional look at address, but give you the confidence of game improvement club.  Feedback is great and solidly hit shots are rewarded with added distance and accuracy.  Miss-hits also do seem to be forgiving as well.  I have zero regrets in spending a little extra for the irons that I will be happiest with in the long run.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SPECTACULAR !!!!! I bought my JPX 825s about a month ago and have now played 11 rounds with them. SPECTACULAR!! They are easily one club longer than my old irons (TaylorMade & Callaway--both of which I've now sold). I was told you could not work the ball with them--wrong. Although they are not forged, the feel is excellent. I think that is due to the graphite shafts. My golf buddies say they've never seen me hit my irons so well. (They've nicknamed me 'Iron Byron'.) Have I mentioned that they are Spectacular?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Distance and Feel I was looking to replace a set of Callaway Big Bertha irons that were very forgiving but lacked feedback on mishits and sacrificed distance for that forgiveness.  I tried Ping G25, Callaway X-Hot and Titleist AP 1 along with the JPX-825.  I did lots of research before going to a professional club fitter who was outstanding.  The JPX was longer than most (especially on my pattern of mishits) and had the best feel by far.  The Dynalite Gold XP S300 shaft gave me the best trajectory and consistency.  I am thrilled with the purchase. The increased feedback has improved my practice at the range and the increased distance has me attacking greens from 180-200 yards which I would not have attempted in the past.  I am currently a 18 handicap but that is starting to fall rapidly as my last two rounds were both 83.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Irons I bought my clubs back in February hoping that I could break them in before the season started and was it worth it.  I was playing with Callaway Diablo prior to this purchase. Although I was hitting them well,  I thought it was time for a new set.    A friend of mine recommended these clubs as he  was currently playing with the JPX 800.  I went into my local golf store, got fitted and the rest was history. Right off the bat, I was averaging an extra 10 - 15 yards.  Although that was great, the thing I loved most about this was that I'm able to flight the ball better and hitting the ball a lot straighter with a lot more confidence behind each shot.  As I said mentioned earlier, I've been hitting these clubs since February and my handicap has dropped 5 strokes. This is definitely a set I would recommend to a friend as I'm happy to have joined the Mizuno family.

Are these clubs factory lengthened 1"? What is the Lie?

    Asked by: Rich77
The Mizuno JPX-825 Irons are in used condition. Since we did not get them direct from the manufacturer, we have no way of telling whether or not they are factory lengthened or done so after the original purchase. The lie will be depicted in the lie drop-down next to the product image.
