A Note About Condition:

This club could be called "Very Gooder" if you were to judge by the gorgeous shine and lustre brought about by the professional reconditioning! But graded as "Very Good", this driver has all the characteristics consistent with that condition. You will see crown wear in the form of an occasional ball mark and/or visible scuffing on the crown. However, when you factor in the new grip, Callaway Barrel headcover, and stickered shaft, the traces of having once been hit are easy to ignore!

Very Good Condition
Shows general wear associated with normal use over the course of a season or more but has been well cared for. Does not retain any of the "new look" but is in better than average condition. There is absolutely no sign of abuse. Cosmetic imperfections are typically visible. Examples include: scuffing, scratching, tiny paint blemishes, shallow dings/nicking, and normal shaft wear. Unless otherwise noted, there are absolutely NO pop-up marks in the crown of any woods.

What Are These Clubs & Where Do They Come From?

Callaway Golf has OptiFit club fitting centers around the country. These centers used FT-5 components that were interchangeable for optimal fitting. Callaway took all these components back to their factory, reconditioned and permanently assembled them just for us... and you! (These are limited in number, when they're gone, they're gone!)

What Does This Mean For You?

A Real VALUE Opportunity on a High Tech 460CC Multi-Material Callaway Driver!
  • Clubheads Factory Reconditioned by Callaway!
  • Many Have Upgraded, Expensive Shafts!
  • Brand New Callaway Grip Installed!
  • New Callaway Barrel Headcover Included!
  • Serialized and Stickered!
  • Fully Warranted by Callaway Golf!
  • USGA Conforming and Tournament Legal!

What Does "Reconditioned" Mean Anyway?...

  • The FT-5 head is made up of multiple materials... a titanium face and sole is fused with a carbon composite crown. The titanium assembly has been expertly buffed and polished at the Callaway Golf factory. The carbon composite crown got a special buffing too.
  • Callaway selected the best-performing shafts for each head and then permanently installed them in the head for total durability. (As a result, reshafting will not be an option.)

With That Addressed, Here's The Cool Tech Stuff:

  • The OptiFit System allows for customizing the Center of Gravity (CG) of the club head for optimum driver performance
  • A 25 gram weight located low and deep in the clubhead positions the Center of Gravity (CG) low and toward the heel for higher initial launch trajectory and draw bias
  • An oversize, 460cc clubhead and Proprietary Fusion Technology maximizes perimeter-weighting, clubhead speed and stability at impact for long, straight driver distance
  • Large CT/VFT titanium cup face technology increases ball speed, distance, and forgiveness, even on off-center hits
  • A slightly open face and optimized center of gravity position for a trajectory preferred by more skilled players
