Callaway's Big Bertha 2006 irons feature the following:
360-degree undercut channel that maximizes permimeter weighting by moving the center of gravity lower and father back in the clubhead, enlarging the hitting area and stabilizing the clubhead
Notch weighting, which redistributes weight to the extreme perimeter to create a higher moment of inertia for greater fogiveness, more stability, and reduced distance loss on off-center hits
Patented Callaway Golf technologies including S2H2, Tru-Bore and VFT Technology to improve efficiency and feel while increasing forgiveness
Variable Face Thickness technology that allows each iron to be cast with less material in the face area, optimizing perimeter weighting for increased forgiveness
Painted scorelines and sandblasted face assist in alignment
Constant width sole designed to move the iron smoothly and easily through the turf and to reduce digging on heavy shots
