Ever since we’ve been in the golf business (25 years now! - read our story) we’ve been concerned about the needs of women. Our sister company (Joe & Leigh’s Discount Golf Pro Shop) has an entire store-within-a-store devoted to women golfers. (You’re in an online version of something similar right now...)
But we’re interested in more than just providing women with quality golf gear! We’re committed to doing whatever we can to address the threat to women's health that breast cancer poses. This disease has hit close to home within this very company and affects thousands of women and their families every day in this country.
For more than 20 years, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation has been a global leader in the fight against breast cancer through its support of innovative research and community-based outreach programs. Working through a network of U.S. and international affiliates and events like the Komen Race for the Cure®, the Komen Foundation is fighting to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease.
